Hickory BBQ Short Ribs

 

4 lbs. beef ribs (apprx. 2 slabs)

2 sliced white onions

6 cups water

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. celery salt

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp pepper

 

3 cups bbq sauce mixed with

3 Tbsp. Famous Hickory BBQ rub

 

Preheat roaster to 400° F

Cut ribs into 1” pieces

Pour water on bottom of roasting pan

Place ribs in roaster and top with onion slices

Combine salt, celery salt, onion powder, and pepper and sprinkle on ribs.

Roast for 30 minutes

Brush sauce over rib pieces and continue to roast at 350° F for 1 hour or until tender.
