Cape Cod Seafood Chili


3 Tbsp. olive oil

1 medium onion diced

2 jalapeno peppers diced

1 red, green, & yellow pepper chopped

1 Tbsp. Butcher Block Garlic Lovers seasoning or 6 garlic cloves

1 Tbsp. salt

2 Tbsp. chili powder

3 Tbsp. Cape Cod Seafood Seasoning

3 oz. tomato paste

28 oz. crushed tomatoes

15 oz. kidney beans

8 oz. clam juice

2 Tbsp. cocoa powder

2 tsp. cilantro

2 tsp. parsley

1 ˝ lbs. bay scallops

1 ˝ lbs. shrimp


In a large saucepan, heat olive oil and then add the onion, jalapeno peppers, red, green & yellow peppers and sauté until tender (2-3 minutes).

Add garlic, salt, chili powder, Cape Cod Seafood Seasoning and stir well.

Add tomato paste and cook 2 minutes.

Add clam juice and crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.

Add kidney beans and cocoa

Add scallops and shrimp.

The scallops cook in minutes and the shrimp only needs to be warmed up.
