BBQ Spaghetti

½ cup oil

1 cup chopped onions

¾ cup chopped green peppers

2 cups BBQ sauce

1 cup sugar

½ cup Texas Mesquite Rub & Grill

3 lbs. spaghetti noodles

1 lb cooked pork shoulder, diced


  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat and sauté onions & green peppers until tender (about 5 minutes)

  2. Add BBQ sauce, sugar, Texas Mesquite Rub & Grill, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. When sauce has been simmering for 15 minutes, cook spaghetti noodles in a large pot of boiling water until “al dente” and then drain.

  4. Put Pasta in a large serving bowl and pour sauce over pasta & toss to coat.

  5. Top with pork shoulder.
